If you have any unanswered questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via phone or email. We’re here to help and provide any information you may need.
How often can we organise a collection?
We aim to conduct collections as often as practical.
Typically, schools benefit from both summer and winter collections. However, in larger schools, we've observed that conducting collections once per term yields the most favourable outcomes.
Students and parents eagerly anticipate these collections and often save items for them in advance.
What happens to the clothes you collect?
The clothing we collect is sold to the second-hand market industry, it is exported to various countries worldwide, where thrift markets flourish, providing affordable clothing to disadvantaged individuals and vintage clothing enthusiasts alike. This practice also reflects a growing eco-friendly trend of acquiring second-hand clothes.
Reuse represents a positive aspect of recycling, as it prolongs the lifespan of garments and helps divert them from landfills
How much does the fundraising scheme cost to participants?
It is totally free to all participants.
How can I book a collection?
To schedule a collection, simply utilise our convenient booking form on the website. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to us via phone, email, or text message.
Can I book more than one collection?

Can other organisations book a collection, apart from schools?
Yes, our fundraising opportunity is open to a wide range of organisations, including Scout groups, football academies, dance schools, community centres, and more. We welcome participation from diverse groups and communities.
How do you calculate the payment?
What we pay the school is based on a per kilogram rate. The total weight of the collected bags is measured, and the school is remunerated accordingly. We pay the most competitive rates available in the current market.
Can I book any dates I wish to secure?
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Given the substantial demand, we highly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred dates and times. Rest assured; we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
Do you accept damaged clothing?
Regrettably, we are unable to accept damaged garments as the clothing we collect is specifically intended for reuse. We encourage you to deposit any damaged clothing at your nearest textile waste recycling bank for appropriate disposal.
Is there a minimum collection requirement?
Our minimum collection requirement is 200 kilograms, which is approximately equivalent to 25-30 full bags. If it's your first collection, don't worry about it too much, we'll still come over and collect!
If you have storage space available for the bags, some of the schools we collaborate with often seek assistance from nearby nurseries, clubs, and organisations to lend a hand.
Can we use our own bags?
Yes, we encourage you to utilise your own spare bags and feel free to utilise more bags if necessary. Upon request, we’re delighted to provide our Happy School Bags. By opting to use your own bags, you contribute to reducing plastic usage.
What can we do if our school doesn't have a storage facility?
If your school doesn't have extra storage space for clothing collections, don't worry.
